- Jataka Parijata notes that the 5th and 9th houses counted from Jupiter, the Moon, and the Lagna are inherently child-producing, and prosperity regarding sons and spouse is indicated if the 5th house from the Lagna or Moon is occupied or aspected by a benefic planet or its own lord.
- Conversely, Jataka-Parijata states that if the rising sign is an even Rashi and the lord of the 5th house occupies the 4th house or has attained a Navamsha of Saturn, there will be a son by adoption.

Additionally, if the Lagna Lord is placed in a malefic's house, occupies a Trik house (6th, 8th, or 12th), and is aspected by or conjoined with a malefic planet, Jataka Parijata warns that the native will become obscure, which directly opposes the high-status effects of the Raja Sambandha Yoga.
