2. The 7th House & Navamsha (D-9) Synchronization
The 36-point system ignores the 7th house—the most critical house for marriage. Rajvidya’s engine performs a Navamsha Audit. If one partner has an exalted 7th Lord in D-9 and the other has a debilitated one, their Realities will never match. Compatibility is not about being similar; it is about Structural Synchronization across the divisional charts.
3. Manglik (Mars) Synchronization: The Heat Balance
A "Manglik" only needs another "Manglik" if their Martian energies are of equal intensity. Rajvidya calculates the Mars Score. How the 36 Points Are Actually Distributed
The eight kootas are not equally weighted. Nadi carries 8 points, Bhakoot 7, Gana 6, Graha Maitri 5, Yoni 4, Tara 3, Vashya 2 and Varna 1. Nadi and Bhakoot alone account for fifteen of the thirty-six.
This is why two couples with identical scores can have entirely different prospects. An 18 built from Nadi and Bhakoot is structurally different from an 18 built from the smaller kootas, and a headline number cannot distinguish them.
The conventional reading is that 18 and above is acceptable and 24 and above is good. Treat these as prompts for closer analysis rather than as pass and fail marks.
The Exception Rules Most Matching Ignores

The eight kootas are computed from the Moon nakshatra alone. Everything else in both charts is invisible to them.
That excludes the 7th house and its lord in each chart, the condition of the D-9 Navamsha, Venus and Jupiter as karakas of marriage, the dasha sequences both partners are running, and any Manglik consideration, which sits outside the 36 points altogether.
A high score with an afflicted 7th lord in both charts is a weaker match than a low score with sound 7th houses and compatible dashas. Use the number to decide whether a full comparison is warranted, not as the comparison itself.
