Vedic Vastu Analysis scores a floor plan against sixteen zones, the main door, Brahmasthan, plot shape and surroundings, then produces a 0-10 score with a list of doshas.
This is a mobile app feature
The website link only opens a short landing page explaining the feature. The analysis itself — entering your floor plan, orientation and rooms — happens in the Rajvidya Astro mobile app, not on the website.
If you clicked Vastu on the website and expected a form, that is why nothing appeared: there is no web form for this feature.
Step 1 — Reach the feature
On the website, Vastu needs no chart. It is linked from the sidebar and the home page under the heading Vedic Mastery Made Simple as Vastu. Both point to the same short page telling you to continue in the mobile app.
Open the Rajvidya Astro app on your phone and start a Vastu analysis there.
Step 2 — What the app asks for
The one field that matters most is orientation — where the house faces. The app gets this either from two map pins (gate and road) or from your phone's compass. Everything else — rooms, the main door, plot dimensions, number of floors, outdoor surroundings — is optional.
Step 3 — Do not submit a near-empty plan
A submission with only the orientation filled in and no rooms scores a perfect 10 out of 10. No findings does not mean a perfect house — it means nothing was checked. Fill in rooms and the main door before trusting the score.
The same applies to dimensions and surroundings: leaving them blank does not produce an error, it silently drops that part of the analysis from the score.
Step 4 — Reading the score
The headline score is not a simple average. One severe dosha caps the whole score, even if every other zone is excellent — a single critical problem, such as a toilet in the Brahmasthan, cannot be averaged away by good scores elsewhere. Do not try to reconcile the headline number by adding up the individual zone scores; it will not match.
Doshas are graded Minor, Moderate or Critical. The free report tells you what is wrong. Remedies for fixing what is wrong are a separate paid unlock, not part of the free score.
Astro-Vastu needs a birth chart
The Astro-Vastu layer, which reads the plan against a specific person's chart, requires selecting a saved horoscope first. It will not work without one.
Common mistakes
- Looking for Vastu on the website. Analysis only happens in the mobile app.
- Submitting orientation alone and trusting a high score. An empty plan scores perfect by default.
- Adding up zone scores to check the total. The headline is capped by the worst finding, not averaged.
- Expecting remedies with the free report. Remedies are a separate unlock.
If something goes wrong
- "Move the road pin further from the gate." The two map pins are too close to calculate a reliable direction. Place them further apart.
- Score seems too high for a house you know has problems. Check whether rooms and the main door were actually filled in — an incomplete plan under-reports issues.
- Astro-Vastu option is missing. Select a saved chart first; this layer needs one.
