This Panchang report is calculated for the exact moment of birth — the five classical limbs (Vara, Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana) plus a full life-guide interpretation built from them. It is free.
Before you start
This is not today's Panchang and has no date picker — it always shows the birth moment recorded on the chart. For a live daily Panchang instead, use Ephemeris Tables in the sidebar, a separate tool.
Step 1 — Open Birth Panchang
Open a saved chart and click Panchang in the sidebar, marked FREE.
Step 2 — Read the five limb cards
Five cards, in order: VARA (weekday, body and health), TITHI (lunar day, with Paksha), NAKSHATRA (soul and destiny, with pada), YOGA (energy and luck), KARANA (career and finance). Each names its ruling planet or lord, its deity, and links to its own detail page.
This page does not show Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, Gulika Kaal, or sunrise/sunset, even though those are calculated internally — they simply are not displayed here.
Step 3 — Know two section headings are mislabeled
Below the five cards, the life-guide sections currently have a mix-up: the section headed "Executive Summary" actually contains the Body & Health content, and the section headed "Body & Health" actually contains the Soul & Destiny content. Read by the content inside each section, not by its heading, until this is corrected.
Step 4 — Use the Daily Optimization Toolkit
At the bottom, Power Activities, Avoid Activities, and a Spiritual Practice card with a deity, mantra and daily habit — practical guidance drawn from the five limbs above.
A precision note for non-Indian birthplaces
This page's timezone handling is simpler than chart creation's: it recognises India (+5:30) and UTC precisely, but any other offset is rounded to the nearest whole hour. For a birthplace on a half-hour or 45-minute offset — Nepal, parts of Australia — the Tithi or Nakshatra boundary shown here can be off by up to about 45 minutes of local time. If a limb looks borderline, double-check against the exact birth time rather than trusting this page alone for edge-of-boundary cases.
Common mistakes
- Looking for today's Panchang here. This page is fixed to the birth moment; use Ephemeris Tables for a live daily Panchang.
- Trusting the Executive Summary / Body & Health headings literally. Their content is currently swapped; read by content, not heading.
- Assuming this page shows Rahu Kaal or sunrise/sunset. It does not, even though the underlying calculation has that data.
- Treating a boundary Tithi/Nakshatra as certain for non-Indian, non-whole-hour timezones. The timezone rounding can shift a borderline result.
If something goes wrong
- "Calculation Error" with a message below it. The message is the actual underlying error; note it and contact support if it does not explain itself.
- Clicking into a limb's detail page shows a server error instead of a page. The detail pages do not currently handle calculation failures as gracefully as the main report. Go back and try again, or contact support with the limb name.
