1. The Logic of Calculation: The Tajika Formula
Every Saham is calculated using a primary 3-point planetary longitude formula. The universal equation is:
The 30-Degree Rule: If the Ascendant does not fall between Point B and Point A (when counting signs in direct order from B to A), the engine automatically adds exactly 30 degrees (one full sign) to the result to finalize the Saham's longitude.
Furthermore, the calculation explicitly changes depending on whether the native was born during the Day (Sun above horizon) or Night (Sun below horizon).

A Saham is always present mathematically, but it only "delivers" results if it is Active. Rajvidya’s logic-gate checks three criteria to mark a Saham as ACTIVE for the current year:
- Aspect Matrix: The Lord of the Saham must form a recognized Tajika aspect (friendly or hostile) to the exact degree of the Saham.
- Benefic Conjunction: A benefic planet (Jupiter, Venus) is within a 5° orb of the Saham point, injecting synthetic luck.
- Ithasala (Applying Synergy): There is a positive Ithasala aspect between the Saham Lord and the Yearly Ascendant Lord (Varshesh).
System Note:
If these triggers are missing, the Saham remains Dormant. This explains why "Artha (Wealth) Sahams" can be present in a year where no significant business expansion actually happens. The potential exists, but the trigger was never flipped.
4. The Saham Trigger Calendar (Timing the Delivery)
This is where Rajvidya provides "Forensic Timing." Once a Saham is identified as Active, its actual event materializes precisely when its Lord's Mudda Dasha (sub-period) begins.
