Removal of Nails, Mustache, and Beard

According to Ayurvedic principles, it is advised to trim nails, mustache, and beard after five nights (or five days). Head hair should also be cut during this period. This practice is believed to lead to gains in dignity, longevity, purity, and radiance.
- Sloka:
“पञ्चरात्रं च यः कर्ता नखानि तु च लिङ्गतः।
मूर्ध्ना च कट्यते कस्य न हि तत्र विशेषतः॥”
(Translation: "One who trims their nails, mustache, and beard after five nights gains dignity and radiance.")

(Translation: "Without proper grooming, the natural beauty and joy of life diminish.")
Precautions:
- Nasal Hair: It is important never to pluck nasal hair, as this can cause immediate discomfort in vision.
- Combing: Hair should be carefully combed to maintain its health and cleanliness.
